Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a simple, straightforward procedure, giving excellent results. It is a treatment used for ‘spider veins’ which are thread veins that the IPL system can not work on. It involves a series of small injections with a tiny needle of a ‘sclerosant’ solution to the affected areas.
The solution sets up an irritation in the vein wall, which, on compression of the vein, causes it to close and therefore fade. It is a safe and wellestablished practice. The treatment is performed by a fully qualified nurse.
